Background & Education
Born and raised in northwest Indiana, Mike shifted his interest in theater to music after attending his first Phil Matteson Vocal Jazz workshop. From his initial education at Purdue University Calumet to being a jazz studies scholarship winner at Western Michigan University, Mike left school to actively pursue singing as a career. He has now been singing professionally for over 25 years in both New York and Chicago. He also plays keys, programs with Logic X & Pro Tools, and plays a bit of guitar.
